2014年國際足協世界盃

2014年国际足协世界杯（英语：2014 FIFA World Cup Brasil，葡萄牙语：Copa do Mundo de Futebol FIFA Brasil 2014）是第二十届国际足联世界杯，于2014年6月12日至7月13日在巴西举行。巴西是在2007年获得本届赛事的举办权，这是巴西继1950年后第二次举办世界杯比赛，这也是南美洲第五次举办世界杯足球赛。

共有32支国家队通过资格赛进入决赛周。波斯尼亚和黑塞哥维那是首次登场。在12个足球场举行共64场比赛[2]。德国国家足球队在决赛加时赛由格策113分钟绝杀击败阿根廷队，夺得冠军，也是第四次夺得冠军，成为了世界杯史上继巴西，意大利后第3支4次冠军球队，也成为历史上首支在南美洲国家举办的世足赛里夺冠的欧洲球队。

本届赛事是首届使用门线技术、隐形喷剂的世界杯。

申办过程

国际足协主席塞普·布拉特宣布巴西为2014年世界杯足球赛主办国

2003年3月7日，国际足联宣布2014年世界杯将自1978年以来首次回到南美洲举办，以符合其当时“由各大洲联合会轮流举办世界杯”的政策[3][4]。为继1930年、1950年、1962年和1978年于乌拉圭、巴西、智利和阿根廷以来，第五次在南美洲举办世界杯。该决定意味着将首次在欧洲以外地区连续举办两届世界杯。而早在2003年1月，南美洲足球联合会就表示，阿根廷、巴西和哥伦比亚三国有意愿申办2014年世界杯[5]。但到3月18日，南美足联一致表决通过巴西作为2014年世界杯唯一候选申办国的决议[6]。

尽管如此，哥伦比亚后来仍未放弃[7]，并于2006年12月19日正式宣布参与竞争[8]；巴西则在2006年12月13日，即早于哥伦比亚一周正式宣布[9]。然而，哥伦比亚于2007年4月11日撤回决定，且并未给出任何原因，留下巴西成为唯一候选国[10]。

2007年10月30日，国际足联正式确认巴西将承办2014年世界杯足球赛[11]。这是巴西继1950年后再次承办男子足球世界杯。
